Carnehill Contracting was awarded the sub contract for the supply and installation of the specialist acoustic timber paneling and PFS structural metal support framework to the main Auditorium lecture hall and foyer. The PFS support framework was designed by Precision Frame Systems to eliminate the need for structural steel support framework and the light gauge metal provided the backing frame for the acoustic timber paneling. The works also consisted of curved timber paneling and solid oak battening with retractable projectors in the ceilings to the board room.
